Do Good

May 31, 2026    Pastor Matt

This message confronts us with a challenging reality: our time on earth is temporary, yet we often live as though we have unlimited days ahead. Drawing from 1 Peter 2:11-15 and Galatians 5, we're reminded that as believers, we are temporary residents behind enemy lines in a spiritual war. The call is clear—we must intentionally put on the armor of God daily, not as a religious ritual, but as a relational response to the One who bought our lives with His blood. The sermon challenges our tendency to live on autopilot, distracted by our to-do lists and anxieties, missing the sacred moments God places before us. We're urged to remember three critical truths every single day: who we are, where we come from, and most importantly, who we belong to. The message emphasizes that how we live matters profoundly—people are watching, and our honorable conduct in the midst of trials, persecution, and everyday chaos becomes our loudest testimony. This isn't about perfection but about consistent, Spirit-led living that produces fruit even when circumstances are difficult. We're called to be God-odd, noticeably different because Christ lives in us, conquering evil by doing good and allowing our very lives to become living sacrifices that point others to the Kingdom.
